Congratulations to the winner of the Festival di Sanremo, the newcomer Angelina Mango, who will be singing “La Noia” this year in Malmö. After a hot and contentious Sanremo where every artist had seized their moment, Angelina shone above them all and earned 1st place ahead of 2nd place entrant and fellow newcomer who won the televote, Geolier. “La Noia” is authored by Sanremo veterans and delivered with an irreplaceable swagger only put out by this young artist. As Italy is part of the big 5 and thus already retains a spot in the final, she will not need to qualify during the weekday semifinals. Wish her great luck and dance along!
