After a string of well-made ballads from Switzerland, Nemo’s “The Code,” carries that same strong production value paired with a not so expected message and song structure.
Nemo is at the top of the Eurovision betting odds, no doubt because they very well might win the jury vote. “The Code” is a bombastic ode to self-discovery. The song is unapologetically queer, and from rehearsals the live performance looks to not shy away from that spirit.
