Eurovision 2025 as Contestants on “The Traitors”

The Traitors continues to be one of the most talked about reality TV shows on both sides on the Atlantic. From attempts to replicate songs backwards to the Seer twist to amplified round tables, season 3 of both versions have brought in the ratings and new fans to this ever growing franchise.

So, what would happen if this year’s Eurovision class played this game of deceit?

Disclaimer: All observations are based off of speculation and made out of jest.

Original Traitors (picked at the beginning of the game):

With her outgoing personality and penchant for humor, Sissal would make a fascinating Traitor. She has the ability to bring people to her orbit and potentially convince her with her innocence, but would it be enough for her to get to the end? One mistaken comment and she would have to use her social skills to defend herself in the Round Table.

Emmy is bubbly and is looking forward to bring the party, which would make the choice of her as a Traitor quite surprising. Her song, “Laika Party”, tells of the historical Laika hidden under a Eurosong melody, which should give Emmy cover when she “murders” her fellow contestants during the night.

Another surprise Traitor would be Klemen, who stands out with his heartfelt ballad and genuine personality. In addition, he has made a living parodying different characters and has a sense of humor; will the Faithfuls know that he is hiding a murderous persona behind his polite exterior?

The Faithful of the Faithful:

Theo Evan is a charming Faithful, but one with many secrets to behold. He can share some of them, but is very insistent his fellow Faithfuls not reveal it to others. This could lead to his banishment, as he would eventually cross too many people who believe his secret is that he’s a Traitor!

Go-Jo is somebody the Faithfuls would want on his side; his previous experience in Australian football would help the gang earn prize money in challenges. Beyond that, he has a penchant for chaotic energy and cheeky humor, but his enthusiasm should give the Faithful a rallying cause to take out Traitors, until the Traitors manage to find a way to take him out.

Laura Thorn may be one to amplify her voice against danger, as following her song, but her day job as a teacher should help her in rallying her fellow Faithfuls in trying to find Traitors. They would then have a hard time to decide on whether or not to eliminate her first to establish a sense of chaos amongst this cast.

In contrast, Zoë Më is more low key, and likes to focus on the little things in life. She would stand out amongst the Faithfuls for her charming and sweet personality, which may lead to the Traitors murdering her in the home stretch because nobody would want to banish her.

In a cast filled with loud personalities and quirky characters, Lucio Corsi contrasts with the rest of them in his introspectiveness and creativity. This could easily fire back on him as everyone else would assume he’s a Traitor, but with the ability to lay low and avoid rocking the boat, the Traitors would give reason to keep him around.

Meanwhile, JJ would stand out amongst the Faithfuls, due to his lovelorn yet kind personality. His social game is bound to be strong, thanks to his connections to the other contestants and how he plays the game. Time will tell, however, if he could make it to the end with the angst of eliminating his fellow contestants.

The duo Shkodra Elektronike showcase the waver between despair and hope in “Zjerm”, and it will show in their gameplay too. Beatrice, the more outgoing and front-faced of the two, would have the social capital to go far, if not even lead the Traitor hunters. While Kolë will make his fair share of friends, his aloofness may put some of the other contestants on edge, and then lead to an early exit.

The Recruits (those seduced by the Traitors to join their side)

Erika Vikman stands out with how upfront she is, which comes through both in her song and her persona. The Traitors would try hard to use her as a shield to hide their murderous ways, but she could overcome it with her charm and wit. So what else the Traitors could do than seduce Erika to their side?

Parg thinks of himself as a survivor, which would play well into how he throws himself into the game. From strategy to performing in the challenges, he is in the race to win this game. So what would happen if the Traitors recruited him to their side? He would jump into the murky sea of Traitordom, just to survive another day.

With his intense charisma, Claude would make a compelling member of the cast, and the Faithfuls would hang onto his every word at the Round Table. The Traitors could eliminate him quickly to keep suspicion off them, or they could seduce him to their side. There, Claude could hide within the shadows and murder at night, while still bringing the contestants to his orbit by daylight.

The Wild Cards:

If there’s somebody who can swing through challenges, then Adonxs is more than Faithful. With his dance background and charming personality, he can lead the group along through challenges and Round Tables alike. But as a Traitor, he can be just as alluring. His ability to perform and kiss people goodbye without a blink would carry him far no matter what.

With her song “maman”, Louane shows how she’s overcome the pain of her mother’s death, which should help with her gameplay. She is able to go from befriending the others during the day, to ending their journeys at night. Which side would she fit better in? It depends on which one would allow the French songbird to make the bigger splash.

Miriana Conte has quickly become one of the bigger characters from the cast of 2025, thanks to her infectious song and her bright attitude. This could help her out as a Faithful, as she can make friends easily and carry things through. As a Traitor, on the other hand, she could surprise the turret through these same traits. How can she serve more drama to the audience?

Tommy Cash always holds a trick up his sleeve, and The Traitors will show which one of his identities will come to the light. Would he be able to convince his fellow contestants he’s a Faithful? Would he manage to slip by as a Traitor? Just like with the meaning of his songs, Tommy Cash always likes keeping things ambiguous, and that would make this season all the more interesting.
