Getting to Know Iceland’s Systur: 5 things you might not know.

Formerly known as Sísý Ey— these sisters have been performing together for years. Their debut single “Ain’t Got Nobody” was released in 2013.

Music is in their DNA— Daughters of Ellen Kristjánsdóttir and  Eyþór Gunnarsson both of their parents are musical and that has no doubt rubbed off on the group. Their parents even have a song that appears in the Eurovision movie.

They are hilarious— The EBU might have a special deal with TikTok with the rehearsal footage but there is no limiting these sisters from getting silly on their own TikTok page.

An album is coming— They are in the process of recording an album but there’s no set date for release.

There’s a BROTHER in the band— Eythor is joining his talented sisters on the stage playing drums in the performance. Jury is still out on whether he wants to fully commit to the band but the invitation is extended 😉
