Going into the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, the atmosphere is colored by the continuing war in Ukraine, and the displays of solidarity which continued over the past year. Further east, however, Armenia has gone through its wars with Azerbaijan, but with fewer fanfare in the fandom and the world at large.
